Fire Prayer Ceremony

Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Dec 31, 2025

Journey with Huachuma (San Pedro Cactus)

The Fire Prayer is a special family invitation to gather around the sacred fire to usher in and celebrate special times in the year. These events are generally private celebrations, for those who have sat with Jaya and Hayley in Ceremony a minimum of 2 times, and understand the prayer within the ceremonial works offered.

What’s Special about the Fire Prayer Ceremony…

The difference in this gathering is the focus of meditation inspired by our Medicine Walks which is conducted with the sacrament Huachuma, San Pedro cactus, and following four chapters guided by the directions and Elements.

Come prepared to sing, sit, rest, dance, and make offerings as we move through this wheel of transformation to pray around the sacred fire from nightfall until sunrise to celebrate the life that has been, will come and is present now.

Huachuma ~ San Pedro Cactus

Huachuma, Aguacoya or San Pedro is a cactus religiously invoked in the South Americas for its wisdom and embodied teachings. Affectionately known sometimes as the Grand-Father, Huachuma often leads one into deeper states of calm, clarity and mental stability while enhancing the heart of our life and the appreciation of that life through the realisation of the mind within the heart.
