Jayaji is a modern-day contemplative and is known for his oration and words of wisdom as well as being the author of several publications of sacred song and verse.

For the better part of the past 15 years, he has taught meditation, contemplation and Eastern philosophy with a basis and appreciation for the worlds wisdom as seen through the mystics from Buddhist thought (Zen, Dzogchen, Mahamudra), Vedanta, Samkhya and Advaitic schools as well as drawing from Christian and Islamic (Sufi) Mysticism to modern schools dealing with the nature of realisation and awakening. The emphasis and essence of the approach is grounded in the Non-Dual understanding of reality and fostering workable enlightened realisation.

A musician, sound facilitator and chant leader, the founder of the Sound Ceremony Academy, Floresta Atitlán and co-owner of The Yoga Forest Conscious Living Retreat Center. His main focus is as director of the Forest Path where he acts as ritual leader and multidisciplinary spiritual guide in his home of Guatemala where he lives with his wife and children.

Jaya started on the contemplative path at a young age with some of his earliest memories significantly impacting the way he views and understands the world. His teaching is direct and clear stemming from the world’s wisdom traditions and spoken from a place of felt presence.

At the age of 10, he stumbled upon the Upanishads and at 14 he discovered psychedelics, by 22 he was guiding people on intimate initiations into both worlds and disciplines. The background stems from his teachers in the forest and guides in the churches of Ayahuasca in Brazil (Santo Daime & Barquinha) that are living syncretic wisdom traditions and doors into the study of the mysteries.
